Week in Review

-My mom and little sister came to visit. It was wonderful having them here and taking them on many LA adventures. Thanks again for coming! We miss you guys.

-Fallon decided she didn't really like having my mom and sister around. Sooo she screamed. A lot. It was really annoying. Especially when it lasted 2 hrs straight on the way home from Sea World. I guess Fallon didn't get the memo that she's not 6 weeks old anymore...

-Checked out Sea World before we officially become San Diego residents and absolutely LOVED it! Shamu, you and the Sham Slam are amazing. I'd like to add that in 6th grade I did a research paper on manatees, so I'm pretty much an expert. I love the sea cow. Also, my 12 yr old sis has a chronic fear of heights, something that wasn't made known to me until our roller coaster cart left the dock and she started having a panic attack. It was pretty hilarious. See, Caroline? I told you we wouldn't DIE.

-I barfed 3 times on our trip to Olvera Street. Good times.

-Packing. Packing. And more packing. Probably the most fun past-time I can think of.

-Fallon is only eating Goldfish now. I don't really care anymore, as long as she's eating something. What's the deal with these kids that have to be forced to eat? Who on earth doesn't want to eat?? I didn't stuff my face for 9 months to gain 60 whopping pounds and birth a child that dislikes eating. She's definitely not from my side...

-The best/worst typo of all time was found in the Daily Universe (BYU). Link

-Fallon thinks everything is a doggy and barks a lot in response. Especially at our honey bear.

-We are moving in exactly a week and I'm kind of freaking out. It's happening so fast. I'd really really like to keep the friends that I have. I don't wanna make new ones! Blah. I feel like we're in a really good groove right now. I have my regular eateries, know all the backroads, there's a ton of kids Fal's age, and I LOVE my gf's!
We just found out our ward meets at 9. So, it looks like we'll be keeping our records in Pasadena...(jk?) We are moving to a really amazing area of San Diego called Golden Hill. It really closely resembles Pasadena in a lot of ways. Although, I still haven't found a grocery store, which concerns me...fyi the Mexican market down the street doesn't count. We don't really eat tripe or menudo at my house.
Friends, you have to come visit me! The zoo's like right by my house. Don't make me beg. :)

Can't believe you are really leaving. *sniff* Glad your mom and sis came to help out, it was fun to see her at the shower.

I'm with Dana...sorry about the barfing and screaming. Fun times.

And I hate packing too--it really makes you realize how much crap you own.

Hahahaha... great recap. Especially about the barfing and Fallon's barking. :-)

Natalie, I'm still in denial that you're leaving. I refuse to face and deal with these confusing feelings of losing someone AWESOME to a WHOLE NOTHER CITY that's like THREE HOURS AWAY. :-) But in the meantime, good luck with packing!! Let me know if you want me to pick up Fallon sometime. Weston is fascinated with other children.

Umm.... way o keep in touch with your Mexican roots by moving right next to a Mexican grocery store. Time to conquer making Mole Sauce. Fallon barfing stinks (she has been doing that a bit lately), Olivera street rocks, and you moving......WHATEVS! Denial, denial and more DENIAL.
